Fire Fighting

NFPA 20 The   NFPA   20   standard   is   a   standard   that   defines   the   requirements   for   fixed   pumps   in   terms   of   protecting   against   fire.   It   is   the   most   widely   accepted, widespread   and   detailed   standard   in   the   world   on   this   subject   for   use   in   fire   fighting   systems.   This   standard   covers   the   selection,   assembly,   acceptance   testing and operation of fire pumps. We design and develop our products according to these standards. UL Listed &FM Approved Fire Extinguishing Systems UL   (Underwriters   Laboratories   Inc.)   is   an   international   independent   engineering   and   safety   company   that   operates   in   5   main   strategic   fields   (Product   Safety, Environment,   Health,   University   and   Verification   Services).   The   UL   448   standard   contains   how   the   pumps   used   in   fire   systems   should   be   designed   and   the conditions   for   testing   them.   The   NFPA20   “Installation   of   Pumps   for   Fire   Systems”   standard   is   the   base   for   this   standard.   Many   of   its   properties   are   like   NFPA 20 but an additional factor has been added to expand the requirements. FM   (Factory   Mutual)   is   one   of   the   world’s   largest   global   insurance   companies   that   mainly   provides   engineering   solutions   to   protect   against   risks   such   as   fire, natural   disasters,   etc.   The   FM   1311   standard   contains   approval   criteria   for   the   horizontal   or   vertical   split   case   centrifugal   fire   pumps   and   the   FM   1319 standard contains approval criteria for  the horizontal end suction centrifugal fire pumps.
